Can you stop going, please! 🙂

Notts Forest will be my last match of the season - so it's a dead cert we've lost that match. Taking the missus to Paris for our wedding anniversary (a big one), so missing the Toon match. Come on you footballing Gods, do your stuff - it'd be typical Chelsea, to stay up by stuffing the Geordies on our last match of the season. Mrs. BM has made me promise I'll avoid bars showing footie, too, on pain of instant divorce. Apparently, I get rather miserable when we lose.

FA Cup against Man Utd on Sunday at 2.30pm.

Looking fwd to that. Tickets arrived today and not bad - Front row, third tier behind goal. Daughter delighted!

The BBC website was saying last week about how significant it was that Man Utd had a big advantage in goal difference. We have since scored 13 goals in two games and are now equal on goal difference with a game in hand and a point behind. The goal difference might be significant in ways they had not realised.

Unfortunately one of our remaining games is against Arsenal, who have outplayed us recently and are capable of winning that game. Unless Man City do us a favour and take points off United we may yet fall short! 13 goals in 2 games, though ! Pernille Harder is playing really well and our stalwart Erin Cuthbert has been brilliant.

This is why it was so disappointing that City lost at Liverpool. Had they won there, as expected, they'd be heading into the game on the 21st fully motivated, and with everything still to play for. As it is they will go to Leigh with nothing but a faint mathematical chance of Champions League qualification. Let's hope they find whatever is required to nab points off United. They are certainly capable of it.

Mate, there are places that you can sell your unwanted ticket. This isn't one of them.

I do enjoy seeing Jonas Eidevall p1ssed off look every time Chelsea beat Arsenal 😀

Whilst we were totally outplayed by Arsenal last time out, they're now missing some key players and we've looked a lot more joined up these last few weeks.

Stop Blakstenius and you stop Arsenal currently.

Chelsea women have it in their DNA to get this over the line 🤜💥

Well, that’s a bit of a bugger: Chiltern Railways is running services on Sunday, but they’re not stopping at Wembley Stadium. Even though it’s a women’s cup final day, and a sell-out. Apparently due to lack of staff for H&S, maintenance, customer service etc.

Oddly, they do intend to run trains for the men’s cup final, despite similar industrial action on that day.

Spoke to Chiltern, but no joy. We’ll have to reroute via the Tube. Wife and daughter steaming.
