Chelsea 1 Brighton & Hove Albion 0

The officials were awful, as per.

Could have ended up with 3 goals with the Jackson one and the Broja offside where he would have been away on his own, one on one with the keeper.

Straight after that he doesn't penalise Brighton for a clear foul on Chilwell that left him injured.

Still, a win is a win.

I’m pleased about that because Brighton have been taking the piss with our transfers lately .
I imagined a cucu own goal ( cock up with Sanchez)  and a Gilmore winner.

Yeah. Thats why a win today is so important as well

Yep...but that will not cut it in the EPL.

Illustrates the difference var has made to the game.

One difference is call Chelsea offside with no fear of reversal!

Good to see you back NB.

No it’s not looking good in the league is it , but we need to throw everything into domestic trophies this season . With no Europe this season , it’s important to have a good run.

did the commentators focus on the these decisions ?  They never do when it comes to us

Nope, but I was watching a South African channel. They’ve probably been advised by British media not to argue against anything anti=Chelsea.

I’m probably being paranoid!

The two offside decisions were appalling. Both were on quite clearly but yet no mention of them as yet on the mainstream media?!

I expect no more but the bias against us is truly on another level.

The MSM narrative can never ever be that Chelsea have been hard done by…never… whether we win lose or draw. We won a game today but how nice would 3 nil have been for our confidence?

Unbelievable. Whoever reads that will not get the picture of the game at all.

Since no one in England (I’m currently in Spain!) who didn’t attend or didn’t have a dodgy stream can say anything it’s unlikely their view will be challenged. Unfortunately.
