Lots of new players. New coach. You know full well it'll take time to gel. 2 defeats in the last 20 league games You could be fooled by some for thinking it was 2 wins in 20

Spent another load of money in the summer so getting the extra 4 wins should be a stroll in the park. Don’t you agree especially as the team has at least 2 players for each position and @Ham game changers back from a season injury?

We have such a deep squad, we should cope with a few injuries, although any team will struggle if you have ten or so injuries at the same time. 2 1

He's probably a good player but not the one we need and needs a loan. Sometimes you get things wrong and need to put your hands up. This is one of those times. Nice kid, not for us. I'd have Tyrique George or Omari Kellyman down that side as a squad option all day.

Morgs
Please Chelsea - we need a goalkeeper. Sell Kepa, Sanchez, Jorgensen, Slonina and Petrovic for 80m. Use that to buy a proper goalkeeper. Simples.

Simple as are most things but as ever the answers are not....WHO ?...that is the question ...the likes of PC and TC do not grow on trees and the present situation highlights just how good they were and also how much better deemed lesser keepers were compared to the present custodian. Every keeper at the top level is capable of "those days" and looking on a one game at a time basis like a World Class keeper but the consistency of the truly great and very good is the difference, The Wolves keeper looked great at the weekend but where are they ? Week in week out is the test and again who?...the TC situation does not arise very often if at all...top clubs hold on to their best as much as possible. Agree with the post but,,,,,,,,,,,,, knowing the problem is simple..finding the solution? not so much.

The non penalty and the second goal could have been avoided if he'd got down in the dirt head first if you ask me.

I always judge a keeper on how willing he is to get down where it hurts,,,,the Citeh lad always does... All very well expecting/demanding a keeper plays it out from the back etc but the job is to protect the goal,,not play like a latter day Bobby Charlton, Johnny Haynes or Fabregas...... to quote Maxie,,, "YOU NEED HANDS"👐👐👐 1
Chelsea_Matt
Sanchez always has a mistake in him and imo clearly isn’t top class BUT the defence exposes him a lot. We’re fragile. And Sanchez I think makes them even more nervous! 😬 I think the coaching is ok but one or two just aren’t good enough. I’m yet to be convinced that Fofana and Colwill aren’t massively overrated either tbh. 🧨💀

They're seen as an extension of the defence these days, so even just being a strong shot-stopper isn't necessarily enough in itself. Trouble is of course trying to find one that's strong in both areas.
