If signing Disasi meant we had the defence we needed without Colwill and that letting Colwill go meant we could have the midfielder we need, the proof would be in how well that worked out for us on the pitch. Not who comes out of the negotiations best, whatever that looks like. I say this all hypothetically, I've hardly ever seen Colwill, seen Caicedo for a full 90 maybe 5 or 6 times, and have literally never watched Disasi. I am very surprised Alfie Gilcrest is not being put on the same mantle as Humphries as he had an exceptionally good game after replacing Trevor. 13-Aug an onwards Is when all will discover how good, average or poor the squad is. Colwill may not even get that much game time. It also appears he may want to leave.
