Had no idea @Mark Kelly was French!

Coast aside, Nice is not especially lovely. Probably just about edges it over Luton tbf.

I'd forgotten Ross Barkley existed.

How could you miss the name clue?

And..Ross Barkley has forgotten he existed..and did so also at Chelsea.

Have you even been to Luton? It has it’s run down area like everywhere but a good deal of it is actually really nice. Maybe you ought to think more before you judge where other people live.

Apart from Liverpool of course. We all know that’s a dump 😉

All jokes aside the Caddington/Stopsley/Hitchin side of Luton really is very pretty!

They're the places you go to when you're leaving Luton!

Not sure which part of Nice you've seen, but I lived there and I loved it - a great old town, wonderful elevated castle, decent architecture in the hinterland, the glorious Promenade des Anglais with its Negresco and Westminister Hotels, the Corniches (as you allude to), a great athletics stadium, the opera..........proximity to Monaco and the maritime alps........

I've been to Luton plenty of times. It's fine. I think it's inhabitants will cope with me thinking it's less nice than the Mediterranean coast.

(Funny I get this response and not the person jokingly suggesting they'd nuke it from orbit!)

I’d nuke Anfield from orbit. Might improve the surrounding area.

I hear there's a lovely quaint little village adjacent pronounced "dunstarbla"

Best thing about Luton is the A505 out.

Certainly Marseille is a shit hole. Not heard that about Nice.

😬🙈 beautiful state though 💙

It is indeed Matt....first time I drove Mrs C over Kenosha Pass to see the real South Park open below us she broke into tears,,and to a perfectly timed playing of "Rocky Mountain High" live concert version by John Denver..as he says.."You can talk to God and listen to the casual reply"..I would only add ...your God.

Hmm perhaps when Sam stops winding us up about a mythical coffee conversation,,shame on you Sam..he could look at a possible additional emoji selection.".WTF,",,"It's a Joke!"..."Tongue in Cheek"... "That's what you took from the post?"

or just add "Duh!"

Same reaction from my missus when I drive her through Luton for the first time.

Every day the same regurgitated guesswork.

We've been almost there for a month according to these dolts.

Walk away Todd, walk away.

As you know Mark I am in complete agreement with you regarding dolts both in house, other clubs and the media but the danger is for us to get too far into the media buffoonery.(.as many may have noted..my go to media attachment!) and I wonder what actually has been going on between Brighton and Chelsea..the Colwill issue was blown up by the media..the Sanchez transfer splashed with glee without any info of substance being offered related to the inter club dealings and no word on the Caicedo dealings from either party...just media recycling....I doubt the price is really an issue as such,,any product is only of the value of it's need by the purchaser and the acceptable price by the seller,,,,

Click bait rules as ever.

Wouldn’t solve the population issue though as they reckon the rats, crayfish and vermin would survive the nuclear holocaust - that’s currently showing a 99% survival rate for that area!!

Imho, if we do sign Caicedo he'd only bring us exactly the same problems that Kova and Jorginho did.  He's another bits and pieces midfielder who won't give great coverage to the defence or create or score at the other end of the pitch. We need a specialist defensive midfielder far more than another bits and peices player. Furthermore, he's hugely overpriced off the back of just one good season.
