For all the things I can slate the club and these owners for, not renewing his deal when he basically could never take to the pitch for us is not one of them. I feel pretty confident we'd be sat here bashing them for paying £300k a week to someone who was rarely available to play. 

Brilliant performances and adequate fitness over a few weeks for a team that doesn't pay you says nothing about the wisdom or potential lack thereof of letting Kante go.

In some ways I think he's embarrassed himself. Wtf is he doing in Saudi Arabia if he can still do this.

Agree...seems no matter how hard we try at times invariably common sense takes over and the Forum justifies the Intelligent title...... and that's after a great deal of hard work to the contrary from an OG and the "Usual Suspects"

How have I missed this thread??? So many lovely memories flashing before my eyes. 

I may think the new owners are mostly wank, but oh my am I glad I witnessed the miracle in Munich on site in the ground. When Drogbas penalty went in it was absolute mayhem for a good 10 minutes. I can hardly remember anything after that until I was sat in some weird pub after the game watching a Chelsea fan strip down naked, throwing all his clothes in the bin and running down the street screaming ‘Campione, campione’. 

My best football memory to date. I also saw someone mentioned Eidurs outrageous goal against Leeds. Probably one of my favourite goals ever. It wasn’t the most important game, but oh my what a class act that fella was. Fellow Nordic as well. We should get a few more of those!
