A little unlucky because when he did move Forest needed midfielders, then in the last hours of the window they spent and signed a couple of options which effectively pushed Santos down the pecking order. I imagine some "bright Spark" in procurement is readying the sale of Gallagher as we now have a midfielder with "Premier League experience" to replace him with. Wonder what we'll do with him before the January window closes. May as well keep him. We only have 3 central midfielders fit, and in the main they all start. Lavia and Big Les are always injured. That said, he also kinda needs to play and get adjusted to European football so if enough minute aren't going to be available here I do think a loan, even to the Championship, would do him the world of good.
